Driving

From Glasgow

Enter Drymen on the B858, just left off the A811 Stirling Road

In Drymen turn left onto the B837 Balmaha Road

After around 4 miles you come to Balmaha. The road then turns sharply to the right, narrows, and heads north for around 6 miles (watch for walkers, cyclists and oncoming traffic)

You will then come to the Rowardennan Hotel on the left, nestling beneath Ben Lomond



From Stirling

Drive west along the A811 Stirling Road

Turn right into Drymen on the B858

In Drymen, turn right onto the B837 Balmaha Road

Follow the road through Balmaha and continue until you find the hotel on your left at the end of the road

The hotel has a car park at the front of building that is free of charge for hotel guests

The nearest train station to the hotel is Balloch (19 miles). Trains to Balloch run direct from Glasgow Queen Street and the journey time is approx. 50 mins

From Balloch, the local 309 bus runs through Drymen to Balmaha and the journey time is approx. 30 mins
